Our ice season is quickly approaching and already the calendar is filling up, so act fast to reserve your spot on this limited, winter adventure!

On our private access at Lava Creek Ranch we are able to get our guests on fish quickly and comfortably. The ranch has a well stocked 3.5 acre lake that ices over to a safe level most years by Thanksgiving. We begin offering trips by about December 10th or when safe ice (6-8") levels are met. Most days we will depart Jackson at about 8:30am for the scenic 1.25 hr drive to LCR. After setting up we get right to the fishing and focus on techniques and our fun electronics. For warmth, we do have a couple shelters to deploy, propane heaters and a hot lunch is included. Most days expect 3-5 hrs fishing time and an easy return by 4:30pm in Jackson.

Ice Fishing Rates for 2023 (groups 2-4 ideal):

*1 angler $600, 2 anglers $800, 3 anglers $1000, 4 anglers $1200, (groups larger than 4 should call for quote)*

None fishing spectators $50

All necessary ice and fishing gear is included. Not included is your personal winter clothing, like gloves, knit hat, snow boots and ski pants. This trip is very popular and a ton of fun but it is limited to 2-3 outings/week. Current December openings are 13, 14, 15 & 20, all Holiday dates are full. Plenty of dates available January thru March. Most seasons we wrap up our ice fishing by about April 1st.

GRAND TETON FLY FISHING'S~MICRO FLY SHOP!

If you have ever been on a trip with our team of guides you may have visited our shop and office in the town of Jackson at 225 W. Broadway, also home to our partners at Dave Hansens' Whitewater. In 2022, this already small shop had a little make-over and got even smaller! We are primarily a guide service but are still proud to have our office and what we now deem a Micro-shop. We have been stocking great "guide flies" for years and you can expect to find everything else you may need for a day on the river to be in our store with exception to larger items like waders, boots and luggage. We carry the best fly patterns for our region from Umpqua, Montana Fly Company, Yellowstone Fly Goods and Fulling Mill. Logo printed gear from Free Fly and a wide variety of embroidered hats and other gifts. Our premium rods are from Douglas and Mystic and we carry a collection of reels from Cheeky and 3Tand.          

Don't let our size fool you, we have all you need and a depth of knowledge to share about our local resources. The smaller the shop, the quicker you turn around and get out on the water!
